Sweltering Britain is heading towards what could be the hottest day since records began with the Met Office expecting temperatures tomorrow to soar to at least 37°C (98.6°F).
Such extreme heat requires extreme cooling measures. Whether it’s Nike's full-face ice mask or a jacket with a hidden fan, no solution can be too radical for air con-less Brits.
Here are the Telegraph's top picks for technologies to help manage the heatwave.
F1 cooling jacket
Price: £35-70
A jacket used by F1 drivers to keep them cool under pressure could prove to be one of the best ways to get you through the summer heatwave.
The Techniche Kewlshirt works like a wet sponge to cool you down. When you dip the vest in water, its fabric immediately soaks up the liquid. The vest is waterproof on the inside to keep you dry, while air passing over the jacket causes the water on the outside to slowly evaporate and cool the surface.
The vest needs some airflow to work effectively, so it may not be the best option if you're on a packed train.
